Our business model has moved away from temporary track hire but you might be surprised how economical a Plywood Composite track can be to purchase!

Are Modular Pumptrack’s portable?2020-03-05T19:30:51+10:30

With the right equipment, yes. Plywood composite tracks can be moved from place to place or packed away seasonally. For transport between locations, an appropriately sized truck and forklift would be required. Refer to the Plywood Composite page for examples of net weight and number of pallets per track configuration.

How long is the Modular Pumptrack structure going to last?2020-03-05T19:32:20+10:30

It is very difficult to provide an accurate life expectancy because it depends on the volume of use.

In some cases if the track purchased is too small and doesn’t cater for the the high volume of users, then the life expectancy will be dramatically reduced. However if the right size track is purchased for it’s intended use then the life expectancy can be a great deal longer.  With some simple questions, we can help calculate the right size track for your intended purpose/location.

The minimum life expectancy of the Plywood Composite tracks is expected to be 10 years.

The Precast Concrete tracks are expected to last over 20 years.

These figures take into consideration properly scheduled maintenance and care.

What is the riding surface made from?2020-03-05T19:29:40+10:30

The riding surfaces are made of a proprietary high grip product.

The riding surface for both Plywood Composite and Precast Concrete have been developed by the manufacturer, Parkitect AG (Europe) in consultation with pro riders from all disciplines of wheeled sports and material experts.

Both surfaces can be easily repaired and repainted if necessary.

Can I assemble a Modular Pumptrack myself?2020-03-05T19:28:53+10:30

Yes! With a few basic tools and some muscle, Plywood Composite tracks can be setup and packed away as needed.

Precast Concrete track’s are a different story. They require lifting equipment.

All track’s (Plywood Composite and Precast Concrete) come with a ‘Self Installation Guide’ – making the process simple to follow.

How long does it take to assemble a Modular Pumptrack?2020-03-05T18:38:30+10:30

The average time for assembly is approximately 5 minutes per module per person. This means that a “Speed Ring” track can be installed by 2 people in about 90 minutes and a “World Cup” track in about 3 hours.

On average disassembly takes roughly half as long as assembly.

On what surface can a Modular Pumptrack be installed?2020-03-05T18:43:26+10:30

The product can be installed on any flat surface not exceeding a 5% slope.

For Plywood Composite tracks, the surface should be relatively smooth and free of any debris. The structure is not designed to span over undulations in the terrain and should always be firmly in contact with the ground under all of its contact points.

Precast Concrete tracks can be installed above ground or be moulded into the landscaping.

Does the Modular Pumptrack come with a warranty?2020-03-05T18:59:25+10:30

Yes

The Plywood Composite track’s offer a 2 year warranty and the Precast Concrete tracks come with a 15 year warranty covering all manufacturing and material defects.

How much space are we going to need?2020-03-05T19:08:36+10:30

The Modular Pumptrack system can be customised to suit any size area.

Track’s don’t necessary have to be ‘loops’.

If you have space constraints, then a ‘Rhythm Straight’ could be just what you need.

We offer a complimentary track design service with every quote to help maximise the space and budget you have.

Simply provide us a ‘mud map’ of the area including any trees, infrastructure or obstacles and we’ll design a pumptrack with perfect geometry for the best flow and fun on all wheels, for all ages.

Can we request custom colours?2020-03-05T19:14:09+10:30

Yes, Plywood Composite tracks can be coloured to suit individual requests using the RAL colour chart.

There is a small surcharge for the custom coloured riding surface and manufacturing time is longer (6 weeks minimum) because these are not stock items.

The fibreglass resin is saturated with the chosen colour so that even when the surface is scratched the same colour is found throughout the whole thickness. The sides of all of the parts are always the same dark brown/black colour.
